Blink 81 is a modern rock band that’s seen its share of complications. Members living overseas, hospitalizations, arrests, you name it, this band has gone through some interesting things on their road to stardom. In the past year, they’ve been really making a name for themselves. Juanito Cinco caught up with them after a quick practice in Copenhagen, and asked them a few questions.
It’s Pop interviewer Juanito Cinco sat down with Kassidy Murray and John Lambert, previously known to the rock world as two musical acts, Santogold and Lambert, now to be unleashed on the world as S-n-L. The two recently came together as one act and will soon be embarking on a world tour together. This is the first interview they’ve given as a band. As they enter the conference room here at Siren Call Records, they’re clearly two different people. John brings to mind a kind of laid-back, old school rocker. When Kassidy bounds through the door, her energy almost writes the interview by itself.
It's Pop sat down with Richard Urban, Sénia Urban, and Taryn McLouglin, otherwise known as Angels of Hellfire, in Central Park before their show at Stonewall Riots in their hometown of New York City.
