After the recent removal of Wayne "Delusional Mindfreak" Caffrey from Angels of Hellfire, Taryn McLoughlin and Sénia Urban have a message for their fans. To begin, thank you – always – for your support. Some of you have been there since the days in the coffee shops when we barely earned enough to pay for the drinks we’d bought. Some of you are recent spillovers. No matter how you got here, we’re glad you came. You’ve been the one thing that always keeps us going. You kept us going when Richard was taken from us. The reason we chose to find a new guitar player when Blake’s life took him in a different direction. And the reason we’re making the necessary adjustments after Wayne’s departure. Any of you should surely realize and we have a decades-old bond (nearly a half-century now – yikes!) and that is what really makes Angels of Hellfire what it is. Without Taryn, there is no Siren, and without Senia, there is no Temptress. If either one of us should ever decide that it was over, then AOH is also done. We promise that when that say comes (because let’s face it, that day will come) you will be the first to know. For now, we want to reach out to those of you who were there thirty years ago. You will be the ones who will recognize our ‘new’ sound. You might call it vintage. In fact, you’ll be the ones in for a treat, as you might recognize some of the old tunes, those that never made it onto record. That’s right, now that we’re back to what’s left of the original line-up, with no plans to add any new members, we’re going back to our own basics, redefining our punk roots. Stay tuned while we get some new material together! Comments are closed.
